This entrance hall in a desirable Whitstable residence was totally transformed.

Taking heed of the clients wish for a red and black palette, Kate Harris Interior Design replaced the existing entrance hall carpeting with stunning black oak flooring whilst the staircase was carpeted in a soft grey. A bespoke built-in cupboard and an upholstered bench seat add additional storage. Sandblasted glass replaced the outdated glass paneling in the doorway to create more light. A stunning central chandelier throws twinkling, reflective light off the completely redecorated area.

TV Room.

A luxurious and comfortable television room was created from a previously unused space for the family to gather together and watch a film or two in total comfort. Wall lighting, ceiling spots, designer radiator and a deep pile silk-mix carpet in soft grey all add to the luxury. A bespoke wall-to-wall unit houses the high-end media system.

Redecorated in a soft palette with a bold feature wall of black and silver, the bespoke orange curtains, artwork and cushions all add additional interest with their rich, vibrant colours.

Kitchen seating area.

Twin leather sofas, a colourful rug, glass coffee table and a textured wall covering were all carefully selected to create this elegant seating area in a previously unloved space in the modern open-plan kitchen.
